The administration of IMCLS is built on clear structures and shared responsibilities, ensuring that every activity runs smoothly. This participatory approach keeps the organisation closely aligned with the aspirations of the people it represents. ​The Executive Body, with a 3-year tenure, serves as the core decision-making and administrative authority of IMCLS. Comprising elected office bearers, it works to implement policies, manage resources, and uphold the organization’s objectives with transparency and accountability.

It ranges from GI Tag for Textiles, Idu Mishmi Language Development Committee(IMLDC), Interpretation, Preservation and Documentation(IPD), Research Ethics Review Board(RERB), Subcommittee on Community Rights and Protected Areas Issues(SCRPAI) to Audit Subcommittee.
