Components
1. Museum
The museum has been designed with provisions for future expansion on the right side. This expansion may accommodate additional thematic sections, such as an Idu Mishmi Afterlife Museum and related cultural exhibits.
2. IMCLS Office-cum-Conference Hall
A dedicated office-cum-conference hall has been planned to support administrative functions, meetings, and program coordination.
3. Bachelor Barrack
Residential barrack facilities have been included to accommodate staff, researchers, or visiting personnel as required.
4. Café
The café is attached to the bachelor barrack to conveniently serve tourists, visitors, and local residents with traditional and local cuisine. A bamboo shed structure will be developed once the RCC construction work is completed.
5. Traditional Homestay
A traditional-style homestay, constructed using bamboo, is proposed to provide accommodation for guests and visitors, offering an immersive cultural experience
6. Heritage Village
The heritage village will consist of multiple huts representing key aspects of Idu Mishmi life and culture, including: The village will also showcase traditional farming practices as they were followed historically. Additionally, provisions will be made for a water body and a riverine water-stream project, allowing a small water stream to flow through different sections of the village. Activities such as traditional fishing practices may also be demonstrated.
